Synopsis:

Mera Maan Pvt Limited collaborated with PEAD to design and implement two interactive capacity development courses for 1400 adolescent girls aged 13-19 in Peshawar. The “Work Readiness & Life Skills” course focused on building confidence, professional development, financial skills, and life skills. The “Entrepreneurship Development Training” course targeted 300 female youth graduates from TVET institutions, providing them with skills in business development, marketing, and financial management.


Narrative of the Project Description:

Background: 

The project aimed to empower adolescent girls and female youth graduates with essential skills, knowledge, and confidence to pursue successful careers and entrepreneurial ventures, contributing to their personal growth and community development.

Objectives:

– Enhance the skills, knowledge, attitudes, and confidence of 1400 adolescent girls from marginalized communities in Peshawar.
– Equip 300 female youth graduates with entrepreneurship skills to explore and establish sustainable businesses.

Project Impact:

 Through the capacity development courses, the project sought to empower adolescent girls and female youth graduates, enabling them to become self-reliant and contribute positively to society. By providing essential training in life skills, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship, the initiative aimed to create a lasting impact on the lives of the participants and their communities, fostering shared prosperity and individual growth.
