Module Design & Training for Enterprise Development

Association for Gender Awareness &Human Empowerment (AGAHE) is a national level NGO working in Punjab province of Pakistan since 2007. AGAHE has been working to support the most vulnerable and marginalized communities through development and humanitarian projects with a visionThe organization takes pride in changing the life of millions of men, women, youth and children, by ensuring their access to equitable resources, needed to generate income.

In its context, to bring change through its livelihood programs, Agahe contracted
Mera Maan to design and conduct a 5-Day residential EDT. The training intended to enhance capacity of men, women and youth regarding business startups, entrepreneurship, enterprise development and business communication, etc. The target audience for the training were community members who were not educated on business strategies, entrepreneurship and startups. The purpose of the training was to literate community members on basic to intermediate business skills, entrepreneurship, how startups take flight, business management and community, etc.

The specified scope of work of the assignment was as follows:

  • Orient the participants on basics of business development, enterprise development,
    entrepreneurship, startup launching.
  • Educate participants on business communication, public dealing strategies other communication strategies.
    Literate the participants on tapping relevant markets, whole-selling strategies,
  • Orientate various types of marketing skills including use of cyberspace.
  • Educate participants on developing business models, integration of innovation and profit management and basic business documents.
