'Strategic Planning Workshop’
Client: Khwendo Kor
Date: December 2016 – January 2017
Khwendo Kor (KK as it is commonly known) started off as a sisterhood guiding women to take practical steps for their own betterment. A non-profit, non-governmental and non-partisan organization, KK was formed in 1993 in response to the strong need expressed by women for a forum for women to address their issues. With a perpetual focus on women and children – to reflect that women’s and children’s interests are often closely interconnected – KK is true to its name, which means The Sisters’ Home in Pashto, the native language of the Khyber PakhtunKhwa province and FATA Pakistan.
Mera Maan assisted KK to review its organizational and institutional positioning against contextual realities and set clear directions for the next 5 years (2017 – 2021) in line with the available opportunities to strengthen the organization for achieving its strategic vision.
