Client: PESP-2, TAMO

Date: November 2017 – March 2018

The Government of the Punjab (GoPunjab) notified the establishment of the District Education Authorities (DEAs) in 36 districts of the Punjab to achieve the goal of ensuring quality and inclusive education for all by 2030. Punjab Education Support Program (PESP-II), with the advisory and policy support of Technical Assistance Management Organization (TAMO), contracted the task of developing two separate training modules for DEA leadership, i.e. a 3-day module for the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and a 2-day module for the Chairpersons/Vice Chairpersons. A training needs assessment was undertaken, on the basis of which two training modules were developed, i.e. for the CEO of the newly established DEAs and for its Chairpersons.

In order to institutionalize the capacity to deliver the training to its target audience, a 3-day Training of Trainer (ToT) workshop was designed and implemented for six senior trainers (full time staff) at the Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Education Development (QAED).
