Entrepreneurship Training for Women

Under the project of: Punjab Skills Development Fund, a training session was designed and conducted by Mera Maan on Entrepreneurship Training for Women for home-based workers. Mera Maan trained 150 women entrepreneurs and the material was designed as a blend of concepts and hands on skills. The training was activity based so that artisans can ‘learn by doing’. The objective of the assignment was to promote the rights of home-based workers and community-based artisans to make women economically strong and empowered through the provision of business and marketing skills. The training material was designed in Urdu.

 

The engagement also required the following activities to be performed:

  • Training needs assessment and design of a training module on Enterprise development for Home-based Workers
  • Design of a session plan including the resource material of the session training of participant
  • Submission of a final report of the session with pictures and attendance sheet
