Evaluation of Project: Economic Empowerment of Women Home-Based Workers and Excluded Groups

The project, funded by the Government of Norway, addressed the issues of women home-based workers. The main objective of the project is to empower women economically, with a focus on Women HBWs, women with HIV/AIDS, transgender and women with disability. The project began in April 2017 with two Implementing Partners (IPs), i.e. Home Net Pakistan (HNP) in Balochistan and Sindh, and Centre of Excellence for Rural Development (CERD) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). As Principal Consultant, undertook a Mid-Term Review (MTR) of the project, to evaluate the overall progress towards output and outcome results, and determine future directions. Activities included document review and analysis and data collection in 6 districts around key evaluation criteria, i.e. relevance, effectiveness and efficiency, and impact and sustainability. Specific tasks included producing an inception report, data collection, data analysis, and development of a future project on a similar theme.
