Capacity Building of Farmer Cooperative Societies Officials and Office Bearers in Organizational Management & Business Plan Development

Synopsis:

Mera Maan collaborated with Agricultural Support Forum (ASF) and Economic Transformation Initiative (ETI) to conduct a training program for Farmer Cooperative Societies in Gilgit Baltistan. The project aimed to enhance the institutional capacity of 162 cooperatives and guide them in developing effective business plans. A comprehensive training module was designed, and a team of skilled Master Trainers was prepared to deliver the workshops in various districts of Gilgit Baltistan.

Background:

The ongoing collaboration with ASF involved the establishment and nurturing of 162 farmer cooperatives in diverse districts of Gilgit Baltistan. The focus was on strengthening the institutional capacity of these cooperatives and assisting them in devising robust business plans. To achieve this, Mera Maan developed a detailed training module and assembled a proficient team of Master Trainers.

Objectives:

– To enhance the institutional capacity of 162 farmer cooperatives in Gilgit Baltistan.
– To guide the cooperatives in developing effective and sustainable business plans.
– To provide valuable knowledge and expertise through comprehensive training workshops.
