Project Scope and Objectives
- Empower women home-based workers (WHBWs) and women with disabilities (WWDs) in entrepreneurship and business development.
- Provide skills for setting up and managing microenterprises, improving visibility, marketing, and business growth.
- Enhance income opportunities and social protection access for participants.
Project Deliverables:
- Eight 4-day Enterprise Development Training (EDT) workshops for 240 women (120 in Multan, 120 in Sialkot).
- Interactive training modules covering entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and digital tools.
- A comprehensive participant handbook and workshop materials.

Implementation:
- Organized four workshops each in Multan and Sialkot, involving 30 participants per session.
- Conducted a “Business Creation Exercise” (BCE) for practical application of learned skills.
- Used participatory methods like group work, role-playing, and market surveys.
Outcomes:
- Improved entrepreneurial competencies among participants.
- Development of feasible business plans and practical experience through BCE.
- Increased confidence and knowledge in running small businesses.
Learnings:
- Tailored training programs to participants’ literacy levels maximize engagement.
- Hands-on activities like BCE are crucial for skill application.
- Addressing logistical challenges like time constraints and participant hesitations enhances training impact.
