Project Scope and Objectives
- Enhance the governance capacities of elected Village Council members in North and South Waziristan.
- Address knowledge gaps in resource mobilization, project management, and gender-inclusive decision-making.
- Promote participatory governance and sustainable development practices.
Project Deliverables:
- A comprehensive 2-day training program tailored to diverse literacy levels.
- Training materials, including handbooks and visual aids, emphasizing practical governance skills.
- Evaluation tools, such as pre- and post-tests, to measure knowledge improvement.

Implementation:
- Conducted 29 workshops engaging over 711 participants, including women councilors.
- Utilized interactive methods like role-playing, scenario-based exercises, and group activities.
- Incorporated gender-sensitive approaches to empower women leaders in governance.
Outcomes:
- Improved understanding of governance frameworks, resource mobilization, and conflict resolution among council members.
- Increased female participation in governance and decision-making.
- Development of action plans for effective local governance and project management.
